Thanks to everyone helping out at the East Devon Green Party stall at the Exeter Green Fair today. We raised an absolutely magnificent £175.50!!! Thank you to Henry & Kirsten for the putting up their very useful gazebo and all the wonderful cookbooks which sold so well. Huge thanks to Kerry for the amazing & very popular cakes (mmmm lovely Homity Pie) and helping all day! Thanks to Miriam for letting us borrow her lovely handmade tombola.
Sharon Howe was a star for printing out the flyers and Keith a superstar for signing up Yvonne in Sidmouth. It was lovely to see our other members, Michele and Oscar – who was a huge help on the stall over lunchtime. And we mustn’t forget the Exeter Green Party for inviting us and making us feel so welcome alongside them & everyone who donated all the goodies including:
Ecosnackwrap

We will now have enough funds to pay for our first local East Devon Green Party newsletter to be printed and distributed and some left over to go towards literature to promote our candidates for the local elections in 2011.
Fantastic – job well done!!

Well done! You told me your target was to raise £150. You exceeded it handsomely. That’s the way to do it. SDGP is going to try a Tombola Stall at our next event! A pleasure to be working with you at the Exeter Green Fair.
