We had our monthly East Devon Green Party meeting yesterday in Exmouth and decided on our first fundraising social event – we’re having a veggie curry night!

Sharon H has been busy looking into suitable venues and we’ve now gone ahead and booked Twyford House in Sidmouth for Saturday 10th April from 7.30pm. Tickets are an extremely affordable £4 and are available from Sharon Howe. Contact me for her details. We’re inviting all our members, supporters and friends. We would quite like a band, or some music of some sort to turn it into a great night, obviously Indian music would be great to keep to the theme.

Please add a comment below if you’re coming or come and chat over on our Facebook group about it.

[...] It’s been a busy couple of weeks with work, family, school & community issues and my commitment to Green politics. We had our most recent East Devon Green Party meeting in Exmouth on Saturday 6th March and welcomed some new faces (and dedicated members like Miriam & Kerry above). We’ve planned an Ottery St Mary street stall for Saturday 27th March (in the town centre – possibly near Boots). This will be followed by a public/open meeting at 7.30pm on Wednesday 31st March at The Institute in Ottery. We have also planned a fundraising curry night for Saturday 10th April – click here for more info. [...]
