Thanks Bee, I know some of our Greenies were so appalled at the thought of Hugo Swire being their MP for a third term that they voted LibDem. But now their LibDem choice Paull Robothan has ditched the party he was loyal to for 44 years, after they ditched him and went with the enemy!! Goodness, what a palaver. Glad I’m a Green and I voted for something I believe in. Be interesting if they call an election again (when Dave & Nick fall out) as who will the Lib Dems ship in then? I believe they had some problems filling the East Devon seat as it was.

My sentiments entirely,(same as Sharon Howe). I walked into the polling station with no doubts or hesitation whatsoever as to where my X should go. Thanks to the ‘multiverse’ for sending us Sharon Pavey to take on a task that few of us could manage. Hoorah for Sharon and all the Greens!

I liked being able to do that too Sharon – it’s very important that we can have the option to vote for the things we believe in. I don’t feel quite so whet behind the ears now either – I’m actually more enthused to go for anything we can to get Greens in the picture all across East Devon. Would love to see a Green standing for Honiton Town Council. Perhaps we should be out with the stall there asap – recruiting new members and potential town councillors. Not sure when they are calling the election for that?

Was so excited to walk along the spring Green Devon lanes and vote at tiny Escot Village Hall………canvassing before the election on the buses of East Devon was great, thanks Sharon.

That’s 2 of the 815 mystery people !! Thanks Cherry & Stephen. As the constituencies have been re-jigged, I’m in Tiverton & Honiton so voted for Cathy Connor – who got 802 votes, well done Cathy. (1.42%) Cherry – can you email me Stephen’s email address so I can say thanks. I bumped into him when we were campaigning and he was ever so lovely. I’d also like to invite him to the next meeting on 12th June in Sidmouth. Cheers x

Yes – I managed to vote Green via a proxy vote and my brother Stephen in Sidmouth did the honours! 815 votes is fantastic!
